Valerie is a graduate from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Jacksonville, FL.  She has been an active FL Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and Certified Neuromuscular Therapist (NMT) since 2004.  She has over 15 years working along side a variety of healthcare professionals in private practice, spa, and clinical environments.  She is also an insured, active member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA).

 
Her post graduate work includes various modalities of therapeutic massage and advanced bodywork to include but not limited to: Neuromuscular Therapy, Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), Myofascial Release, Prenatal/Postpartum, Sports, various methods of stretching, Swedish, Therapeutic Deep Tissue, and Trigger Point.   
 
Upon her own experience during pregnancy and postpartum in 2008, she became a Certified Infant Massage Teacher (CIMT) and Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist (CPMT) through the internationally accredited Liddle Kidz Foundation.  Her advanced training allows her to not only treat the various stages within pediatrics but also teach parents, families, and caregivers how to administer positive touch therapy to aid in attachment bonding, respect,  communication, reduce and/or relieve symptoms amongst other benefits.
 
Valerie challenges herself to continue her education on a consistent basis and share it with others so they become inspired to take control of their own health. She is humbled to team with each patient as well as work alongside Dr. Munday and his great team to not only restore but maintain optimal wellness and well-being.
 
In her spare time, she is a devoted wife to her husband, Michael, and loving mother to her son, Bryce.  She likes to gather in fellowship, spend time with family and pets, travel, play soccer, volunteer, and joke/laugh to make life a bit brighter for those around her.
